A proposed housing consultation for affordable housing seems to have brought out a variety of views across the city. Kingston has not seen this kind of debate on affordable housing in a number of years. What are the challenges to building heritage and affordable housing co-existing with each other?

Council will soon have to decide if Kingston is to expand out or up - Recently proposed amendments to the Urban Growth Strategy seem to indicate 'out'. This is far from unanimous.
